I have a photo for my 3 times grandmother, Anna Pearson, who lived in Sweden. It's one of my greatest treasures. Your sweet photo of the little one is so different from Anna, who was all grown up and looked a bit sour. LOL
Vilken vacker bild och vacker text. Känns som en upprepning att säga men det är ju så med dina bilder. Vackra med vacker text. :) Ha en fin kväll. Kram
Sepia prints have such appeal. Old photos are usually of people who have their very best clothes on. My Swedish cousin said that Swedish immigrants to the US would borrow good clothes if they didn't have any so the photographer could record how well the immigrants were doing in the US. Then they would send the photos back to Sweden. I often wondered how they could afford a photographer's work.
lovely photo and I hope the stories she whispers are lovely too. Love the new header as well. Hope you can stop by to see my sepia scene and window views Thanks!

what a lovely shot and I like the way you've framed it.
beautiful! Lovin' her old fashioned outfit!!!
I love how you've staged this so it looks like a print hung up to dry in the darkroom. I hope she tells you nice stories.

Oh so beautiful and looks well preserved. Great find.

The baby speaks softly and with conviction - by her eves that are wonderfully expressive. A timeless beauty!
Anna,
I LOVE your fertile imagination! ;-)

Such wide-eyed innocence in a lovely lace trimmed dress and oh, those button boots!
